Mother of three, Liz had a major career change in her early 40’s after twenty years in brand strategy and marketing communications following a chance trip to Antarctica.  With a changed perspective on climate and sustainability, Liz raised over 3 million dollars, to write and directed a landmark documentary series ‘The Tipping Points of Climate Change’ which opened Climate Week New York, and garnered the support of the world’s leading climate scientists.  Over the last decade, Liz has written and directed multiple global documentary series on climate change – Earth Survival, Youth4Planet, Amazon Burning, Climate Impact Asia, and Changing Ocean Asia. She also had the privilege to take the first indigenous Australian youth to Antarctica. Liz has produced and directed over 50 documentaries, many inspired by passionate scientists living at the Tipping Points of Change. She is best known for her international series The Tipping Points a 6 x 1 hr series, versioned in English, Dutch, German, and French and a theatrical film Climate Hunters for ARTE Germany.  Awarded one of 100 Women of Influence for her work in climate education, Liz is currently the Artist in Residence at the Earth Observatory of Singapore and works to highlight the important work being undertaken by scientists to monitor, evaluate and provide long term solutions to the impacts of climate change in southeast Asia. She is especially passionate about giving youth a voice for their future, and encouraging more women in science.
